Sasha Reedy

A Broken Arrow native, Sasha was first introduced to dance at the age of three when she began studying dance at local studios, spending most years at Ms. LaQuita's and Theatre Arts, Inc.  Upon entering high school, Sasha became involved in Broken Arrow Tigettes where she was honored to be a three-year member, Lieutenant, Co-Captain, and was named to the NCA/NDA All-American Dance Team, which took her to Hawaii to perform in the 1998 Aloha Bowl.  After graduation, Sasha moved to Edmond, OK to attend University of Central Oklahoma, where she studied Dance Education, Early Childhood Education, and was a member of the University Pom Squad, graduating in December 2002 with a BS in Early Childhood Education.  Sasha's work experience in dance includes Discoveryland's productions of "Oklahoma" and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", substitute instructor at Studio J School of Dance in Edmond, and six years teaching at Rejoice Dance Studio before gaining ownership in September 2012.  In addition to her work at Rejoice, Sasha is also the proud coach of the Broken Arrow Tiny Tigettes, the greatest first-third grade pom team in BA!  Sasha is married, has one son, and one daughter with whom she shares the joys of performing!  She is excited to continue this venture, touching lives as she shares her love and passion for dance.

Susie Baxter

  • Ms. Susie is currently on maternity leave and will return in January 2018.  Please join us in wishing her well as her family welcomes a beautiful new baby!!!
Susie Baxter received most of her dance training at Ardelle's Dance Workshop, beginning in 1985, and it included tap, ballet, jazz, and theatre.  She also spent her high school years participating in colorguard and winterguard teams, serving as dance captain for three years.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from University of Tulsa in 2000.  She has directed, co-directed, and choreographed for various children's productions ranging from preschool age through late elementary school.  She has performed in countless stage productions, including plays, musical theatre, choral productions, opera theatre, and jazz bands.  She has worked with companies including Grace Ann Productions, Brook Fine Arts Academy, Kids Konservatory, and worked on various projects with the director of Tulsa Repertory Musicals.  She was a preschool teacher at Highland Park Learning School for 12 years, before she retired to homeschool her three boys in 2008.  She began dancing at Rejoice in 2011 and teaching there in 2013.  She has a passion for children and loves teaching.  She is thrilled to be able to continue her love of dance in a God-honoring way, and hopes to instill in each of her students how beautiful they are, and how much God loves them.

Alexis Grimes

  • Instructor

Alexis Grimes was raised in Longview, Texas and began ballet training at the age of six.  By 12 years of age, she was training in pointe, contemporary, and modern, and a few years later training in hip hop and jazz.  At age 17, she was accepted into Ballet Magnificat's Trainee Program in Jackson, Mississippi and began to pursue dance professionally.  She graduated in 2016 from the Trainee Program and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she desires to pursue her love for teaching dance.
